s Web-based video tours are the wave of the future and a winning marketing strategy. While real estate Web sites have been using digital photos and 360-degree panoramic tours to showcase listings for several years, Kench, owner of video tours, says this approach falls short of what a video tour with motion-picture quality can offer home buyers. A picture is worth a thousand words, but video tours sell homes. www.suffolkhometours.com

If there is one place Manhattan music fans should consider taking a free ferry ride to Staten Island for, it would be to check out the Cargo Café located at 120 Bay Street, Staten Island NY. Some of the best local musicians perform. Wednesday night is band night. It doesn’t hurt that prices on the menu are quite reasonable. Most mixed drinks go for $5 (more elaborate cocktails are a bit more expensive) and, as far as food goes, few items top $20. They do not specialize in any ethnic style, so you can find simple things as chicken fingers, hamburgers and quesadillas on to more elaborate dishes such as grilled salmon and a variety of pastas. A delicious grilled turkey sandwich with a side salad will only set you back $7. For more information, call us at 718-876-0539. Cargo Cafe
