Musical Guests - Saturday, October 6th 7pm.

The Thoughts That Kill formed in late 2005 in New York City. After years of playing with people that felt more like a job than a good time, Jason Jetson decided that he would take the wheel and form his own project. There would be plenty of material to work with. Being a paranoid mental case, Jason keeps countless books of heartbreaking lyrics all stuffed inside a sticker covered suitcase in which he found in the garbage when he was 18. This suitcase comes with strict instructions to his roommate. In an event of a fire, this suitcase must be thrown out the window. Jason turned to his long time friend of 10 years, Fernando, to play drums. He was the only choice in Jason's long list of drummers from the past. After a few failed attempts to start, they finally pulled it together. Fernando's musical taste spans from Miles Davis to Joy Division. However, he is able to move in and out of any genre with ease. This makes the perfect accompaniment to Jason's eclectic musical style. Bass players are hard to come by. Sometimes guitarists reluctantly have to make the transition to bass in order to be a part of a great band. This was the case for Christopher. Chris was formally the lead guitarist for a NYC rock band and has been out of the band circuit since 2003. After being pressured to switch to bass by his best friend (Fernando) since second grade, he still refused. When he heard the first sketches of Jason's songs, he then reconsidered and is now all in.
